Yep, still here

Gosh, I really didn't mean to fall off the face of the earth. April & May were pretty busy months for us. The boys were involved in soccer, track, baseball and Cub Scouts. Phew, I am glad to say we finished up soccer and track and that Cub Scouts isn't nearly as time consuming in the summer as it is during the school year.

Anyway, the kids also finished up school last week and we had a fun weekend camping with Troy's family.




I will try and update a little better another post, but I wanted to share some pictures of our new housemates. We have officially become pet owners again. Connor has been wanting a pet ever since our dog passed away 3 years ago.

Meet Luke, Jameson's new Male Beta Fish. He seems to be very happy in his new tank.




Connor decided a few months ago that he would like to have some hermit crabs. We made a deal if he finished Harry Potter & the Prisoner of Askaban(he got 1/2 way through and wanted to quit) and worked hard in school, we would get some when the year was finished.

Introducing Emily- with the purple shell and Drew. My Mom and I and the kids spent a fun day garage saleing looking for a tank for the hermit crabs. We previously had bought a cheesey plastic one from the petstore. The crabs seem to like their new home.

As you can see, Connor is loving his new pets, even though they aren't the kind you can cuddle with. Hopefully we have set up a crabitat that provides everything these little guys need.







Last but not least, a little update on my Body For Life Challenge. I have lost 15 pounds and only have 10 days to go! It has been an amazing journey where I have learned a lot about myself. I am sure I will write more about this after I finish the challenge.
