Vacation 2007

We had a great vacation to Colorado and Utah. We were able to spend some time with my sister Linda in Colorado and had a fun time swimming, golfing and getting wet together at Elitches. Troy's whole family all got together at the Powder Mountain Ridge Resort. It was a beautiful but, winding road up to our condo at 8,900 feet. We really enjoyed the scenery. We even saw a moose. We were able to tour quite a few places as a family: Welfare Square, the Conference center and the Humanitarian Services building. Troy's neice, Stephanie is serving a mission on temple square and so it was wonderful to see her, as well. One day we went to a session at the Bountiful Temple. The condo was really nice and we had fun swimming, playing tennis and just hanging out, playing games. Our only complaint was that their fitness center didn't open until 9am. On cardio mornings, Troy and I would run outside on the tennis court instead. Despite the thin air, the view was breathtaking on top of the mountain. On our way out, we stopped in Vernal and saw some good friends, the Larsens, who used to live in Lincoln. It was awesome to be able to step back into our friendship after not seeing each other for almost 10 years.

It really was a wonderful vacation and it was nice to make so many great memories.

Hooray for vacations! It is the recovering from vacations at home that I dread :) !!

Where in heaven's name have you been, missy? I'm glad you're back, but not glad to find out you were in Utah for a brief stint and I didn't get to see you! Please come back!

Wow, looks like a great trip. You look so good. I really enjoyed your photos that you entered in the fair as well. I didn't know you were such a good photographer.
