Date Night

Troy and I discussed going on a date tonight. We decided it might be more important to spend time together as a family and so we opted to go out for pizza and then we were going to come home and watch the Netflix we've had since before the beginning of December (yikes, I didn't realize it had been so long). Well, it was extremely busy at Pizza Hut and then they burnt the cheese pizza that we'd ordered for the kids, so we ended up being there for a really long time. I am not sure if it was the long wait, full tummies or just getting back into the school schedule, but all 3 kids were falling asleep on the 20 minute drive home. Since it was still early, Troy and I decided to have our date night after all.

We had the best time bowling in our pajamas. It was so great- there weren't any ugly shoes to wear, there is an instant replay to show you how the pins fell and you don't have to wait for your ball to come back down the lane. The only thing missing is the little hand dryers.

It realy was such a fun date. I can guarantee that one of us would have fallen asleep had we just decided to watch the movie. Instead I beat Troy at bowling and we even had time to get 9 holes of golf in, as well.

Kristi,
LOVE your date night idea. We just got the Mario Olympics for our Wii and it is loads of fun, too.
Your Mii and mine look almost identical except mine has glasses!
